PictureGovernor Sununu's signing of two bills I supported: HB 1791 (Relative to Biosimilar drugs -- which should significantly reduce healthcare costs to patients, hospitals and insurers) and SB376 (Regulating availability of pseudoephedrine, used to make methamphetamine), June 7 2018. Sen. Bradley and Rep. Rosenwald also attended.

     Important bills I've sponsored:
  • In 2020,  HB1623, expanded telemedicine in New Hampshire, allowing people to meet with doctors, counselors, and other providers via their computer or phone. This was signed by Gov. Sununu 7/22/20
  • In 2019, five of my prime sponsor bills were signed into law:
  • HB237, established the New Hampshire Rare Disease Advisory Council, a forum to share concerns for those dealing with and providing care for those with rare diseases. Signed by Gov. Sununu 5/15/19
  • HB369, relative to the prescription drug monitoring program, strengthened our program to stop the misuse and abuse of opiates. Signed by Gov. Sununu 5/15/19
  • HB508, allows physicians to take direct payments from patients. Signed by Gov. Sununu 8/16/19
  • HB511, banned vaping at schools. Signed by Gov. Sununu 7/19/19
  • HB528, reduces bills for emergency medical services. Signed by Gov. Sununu 5/10/19
  • In 2019, 27 out of 55 bills I sponsored became law -- more than any other representative.  Despite the disruption caused by COVID-19, two more bills became law in 2020.
